Draping.

explores various draping techniques and prompted the documentation of our creative process, showing how our designs become a reality, from start to finish.

Coastal echoes.

Our recent project focused on using sustainable draping techniques to create a signature gown. This gown features a bustier top and a zero-waste skirt, using methods like subtraction cutting and gathering.

3D drape.

Tasked with draping a manipulated, paneled top and a three-dimensional skirt, I incorporated pleated panels into the top for added texture and structure. For the skirt, I designed two box-like structures extending down its length, creating a bold architectural silhouette. The skirt was first draped and molded with paper, allowing for precise shaping before being translated onto fabric for the final construction.
